Juan Guaidó: “The usurpation ceased in Costa Rica and will soon cease in Venezuela”

The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, twitted about the inauguration of María Faría in the embassy in Costa Rica.

We advance in the recovery of the goods and spaces that belong to Venezuelans. We are already formally occupying the headquarters of our diplomatic representation in #CostaRica. The usurpation ceased at #CostaRica and will soon cease in Venezuela,”

he wrote on the social network.

This Tuesday, Maria Faría, who was appointed by Guaidó in January, took office and took possession of the embassy.

She was recognized by the Government of Costa Rica as the legitimate representative of Venezuela last February and at that time she gave instructions for the representatives of the Nicolás Maduro regime to leave the diplomatic headquarters in the country. They left the country at the expiration of the 60-day period granted by President Carlos Alvarado on February 15th.
