Judicial branch opens job vacancies for people with disabilities

From March 20th to 31st, the Directorate of Human Management of the Judicial Branch will receive documents from people with disabilities who are interested in holding an administrative position within the institution.

The vacant positions are : administrative assistant 1, 2 and 3, regional administrative assistant 1 and 2, administrative assistant, reception assistant, registration and delivery of documents, assistant of comptroller of services, auxiliary of general services 2, concierge 2, administrative technician 1 and 2 and radio technician 1.

The requirements for each of the vacancies are available on the website of the entity and in the Human Management office.

Applicants can enter the website and submit their offer online, they can also personally introduce themselves to the Human Resource Recruitment and Selection Unit and submit the respective documents. The reception opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. And from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Judiciary, in order to comply with Law 8862 and institutional policy, took actions to guarantee access to vacancies to the population with disabilities, for which the Employability Commission was created, which works on the subject in coordination with the Human Resource Management.

The objective of this commission is to follow up and carry out the actions towards the application of what is indicated in the legal norm.

This will be the first exclusive contest for this Costa Rican population, and is part of the Equality Policy approved by the Plenary Court in September 2012.

The Commission composed of representatives of Human Resources, Social Work, Medicine, Psychology and Occupational Health of the Human Management Department, among others, reached an agreement regarding the model for the Recruitment and Selection of Persons with Disabilities.
