Legislator Pablo Heriberto Abarca, from the Social Christian Unity Party, presented a writ of amparo against the vice president and foreign minister of the Republic, Epsy Campbell, on Wednesday morning, because she hid information related to her trips abroad.
Since October 29th, the legislator asked Campbell for detailed information about the 11 trips she has made, about her team, the public resources used and purposes. However, Campbell did not give him the information in the time established by the law.
Abarca also asked Campbell for details of her husband’s duties on those tours he went with her, because -breaking the protocol- he is in the official photographs of the trips.
For weeks now, CRHoy has also asked Campbell for details of the agenda and how her husband’s expenses were handled during these tours, which has been denied.
