Limón is the province with the highest number of rain-related emergencies

According to the most recent report of the National Emergency Commission (CNE), Limón is the province with the highest number of emergencies caused by the rains.

Of the 31 events that occurred on Friday, most occurred in Pococí, Matina, and downtown Limón, according to Sigifredo Pérez, Chief of Operations of the CNE.

There were floods and small landslides that affected 13 cantons of the country. Until the last report, there were no people injured or missing due to the rains. No shelters have been enabled so far.
