María Faría hands over building of the Venezuelan embassy in Costa Rica

Maria Faría, ambassador to Costa Rica appointed by the self-proclaimed Venezuelan president Juan Guaidó, decided to hand over the building of the embassy of her country in San José on Thursday night.

We abide by the decision to return the property to its registered owner, we promise to wait the 60 days given by the Costa Rican government to the officials who represent Nicolás Maduro to leave the country and from that date the government of President Juan Guaidó will assume safekeeping of Venezuelan state assets in Costa Rican territory,”

said Faría on Thursday night.

Hours earlier, Faría apologized to the national government for having taken the embassy of her country located in Los Yoses on Wednesday morning.
