More than 112 thousand marijuana plants were destroyed in the Southern Zone

More than 112 thousand marijuana plants planted in the Southern Zone were eradicated in recent days by the Drug Control Police (PCD) of the Ministry of Public Security (MSP).

The plantations were distributed in an area of 15 lots in a space of 10.7 thousand square meters.

So far this year, 1,945,912 marijuana plants have been removed in different parts of the country, mostly in isolated areas.

These towns are located in remote places, difficult to access. However, after hours of hard mountain trekking, the agents of the PCD, together with officers from the Air Surveillance Service (SVA) and the Public Force, arrived at the 15 plantations where the drug was located,”

said the police report.
