New government defines priorities for coming years

On Monday morning, President-elect Carlos Alvarado, Vice President-elect Epsy Cambell, and other officials of the new government met with the legislative fraction of the PAC to define the priorities for the next four years.

The president-elect gave special importance to the issue of the country’s fiscal situation, the electric train and education. During the morning they were gathered in a private meeting on the 13th floor of the National Insurance Institute.

The new legislative fraction begins to work in coordination with the Executive Branch a little less than a month after the new Government takes office.

In this way both parties will be more clear on what are the priorities for the new administration and the efforts that will be concentrated not only from Presidential House in Zapote but also from the Legislative Assembly in Cuesta de Moras.
