A new method that analyzes women´s hormonal mechanism through saliva and determines their fertile window could be the answer for women who want to have children.
A high percentage of women do not know that they are fertile and ovulate only one day a month and they think that they have fertility problems,
said gynecologist Carlos Escalante.
The doctor explained that the traditional method to estimate fertility on women is to do blood tests every 2 weeks or to test urine twice a day, which is often complicated.
This new mechanism called Fertilcontrol, makes easier and faster for women to know if they are experiencing their fertile window, because they get the results in just 20 minutes.
Women’s saliva has a crystallization pattern during the menstrual cycle. This pattern changes due to estrogen increase during the pre-ovulation phase, so that crystallization coincides with women’s fertile period,
