A new processing plant for juices and drinks, owned by the company Paradise Ingredients, will generate 40 direct and 80 indirect jobs in Cartago. Paradise Ingredients is the world’s leading banana purée processor and its new operations center will allow it to send its products to the main North American markets.

said Hugo Chaves, president of the company.
The new expansion of the company was implemented in an area of 5,500 m² and has a productive capacity of 20 million liters per year, with an investment of $20 million.
