Palmares Traffic Police started operations to control alcohol consumption and informal transportation

On January 12th, Traffic Police started an operation in Palmares: they aimed to prevent drivers from driving under the influence of alcohol, working without the vehicle ownership tax or conducting informal transport.

Delfín Cubero, head of the entity in the area, declared that irregularities weren’t found.

Furthermore, in order to stop informal transport, officers requested drivers and companions’ personal documents to know if they were acquaintance or family members. In addition, officers performed blood alcohol tests at different points of the area and strengthened the measures at night.
