PANI’s toll-free hotline

The National Children ‘s Trust (PANI) has a toll-free hotline: 1147.

Attention is available from Monday through Friday, from from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m, with two psychologists serving people who need guidance with any issue involving minors.

The service is operating since 2011 and provides advice on issues of upbringing, education, limits the use of social networks and bullying.

In the five years of operation of the service, they have received around 5,000 calls a year.

The idea is to lighten the amount of consultations and provide solutions via telephone. But depending on the case’s complexity, it might be redirected to other specialists to assist young people and their families.

PANI aims to train and guide parents in decision-making and in addressing children and adolescents; and to provide assistance for children who want to clarify concerns and file complaints on issues affect them.
