Peruvian coyote arrested with 6 Ecuadorians in Golfito

The Border Police of the Ministry of Public Security arrested an alleged coyote in a mountainous area of Guaycará de Golfito, in the southern part of the country.

The Costa Rican national is named Agüero who, according to official reports, was guiding six Ecuadorians to circumvent immigration controls, as well as various police checkpoints.

This man tried to flee but was caught by the officers, who also assisted the six South Americans for their later transfer to local Migration offices.

The Border Police determined that Agüero and his companions were trying to evade the checkpoint to continue traveling illegally.
