Precautionary measures against woman suspected of abortion

The Operational Functional Management Unit (UODF) requested precautionary measures against a woman named Pineda, suspected of aborting by using drugs.

The accused may be forced to show up and sign every 15 days, to remain in the country and maintain a fixed address.

The hearing of this case was set for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Criminal Court of Pavas.

The events under investigation occurred on February 27th, in the house where Pineda works as a maid in Rohrmoser. That day, the owner of the house found the suspect with huge blood stains, resulting from heavy bleeding.

For this reason, she took her to a private hospital, where she underwent a medical procedure to stabilize her condition.

On Tuesday, upon returning, the owner of the house located a lifeless fetus in a toilet, so she notified doctors and the authorities.

The cause is now seen as a possible case of intentional abortion and the investigation continues.
