Pregnant women with Zika in Nandayure are stable and under medical observation

According to the Ministry of Health, on Wednesday, two pregnant women were added to Zica cases reports. Out of the 839 cases, 22 pregnant women have been infected with the virus. Most of them have already given birth.

At the moment, the two women have been treated in Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) health centers, and their babies do not have complications.

The greatest risk to pregnant women is that their babies are vulnerable to develop microcephaly.
