President Solís doesn’t get traffic jams dynamics

President Solís has yet to schedule a meeting with the director of the traffic police, Mario Calderón, to discuss the issue of traffic congestion. The president is asking for a more detailed traffic engineering report, since he does not understand why there are traffic jams in some places one day, and then the following there are none.

Mario Calderón confirmed they have had no operational meeting. Instead, they have focused on “boosting” the official patrols in places affected by traffic jams.

A few days ago, President Solís called for budgetary support to hire more staff and recognized the urgent need to solve this problem. However, he stressed he cannot perform magic in order to do so.
