Rescued Margay is released into the wild

The male margay who survived a hit in Guanacaste was released in its natural habitat, reported the Las Pumas Rescue Center.

Fuerza Pública officers aided him, rescued him and took him to the rehabilitation center.

The release was made possible through collaboration with officials of the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC), who used specialized equipment to transfer the feline.

This mountain feline is considered an endangered species.
