In the last six years, billionaire Bill Gates has visited Costa Rican soil twice, the first time in April 2010 and the second time just a year later.
This is stated in the Migration Registration records, where they point out that Microsoft co-founder entered Daniel Oduber airport for the first time and Juan Santamaría airport on his last visit, which lasted only three days.
The tycoon landed in the country in his private jet and stayed several days at the Four Seasons Hotel. Gates also visited a luxury hotel in San Carlos and he and his children enjoyed the beauties of the Arenal Volcano.
In 2009, Forbes magazine published a special article indicating that Gates had so much money that he could even buy Costa Rica. Of course, he is still the richest man in the world.
