Riding a bicycle: a government proposal to reduce traffic

The Vice Minister of Transport, Liza Castillo, announced the completion of the first stage of the process for the modernization of public transport.

Now they will focus on a public consultation to tune up the decree that improves people’s mobilization, mainly in the capital.

The first actions will be taken immediately, in the first half of 2017, and will be based on improving the travel times of the bus services.

In addition, other measures that will be taken in 2017 are the integration and improvement of the train and the possibility of using the bicycle more, as well as the consolidation of the plan for the design of an electronic payment system.
