A sunny and cool morning, full of good wishes and adrenaline was experienced on Sunday, October 9th during the walk, race and other activities planned by Ana Gabriela Ross Foundation in La Sabana Metropolitan Park.

Families, friends, neighbors and personalities gathered, mostly dressed in pink to support the fight against cancer in the country and to help fight the disease. There is a story behind every person who attended the activities. Everybody had a personal motivation to participate.

The Fire Department supported the activity parading a pink truck.

The actions to support the fight against cancer will continue throughout the month of October, with talks on prevention and early detection of breast cancer, testimonies, sessions for consultations and stations to donate hair to make wigs will be available in Wallmart’s stores.

Also, on October 16th another race and walk against cancer will be held to support the National Foundation for Solidarity against breast cancer (FUNDESO).
