Several people wounded after bus fell from a cliff in Cinchona

The Red Cross and Firefighters reported several people were badly injured after a bus  plunged  from a 15-meter cliff in Cinchona.

The accident occurred at 8:57 a.m. on October 20th and at least 16 rescue units were sent to the site.

According to the police report, there are at least 6 people severely wounded.

An officer from Central Communications of the Red Cross reported that there would be casualties, but that they don’t have a number yet, while the fire department reported that some of the passengers are trapped in the wreckage in critical condition.

At the moment, the total number of passengers is up to 30 people who apparently were on the bus that went off the road and fell into the cliff, near the old factory El Angel.
