Slaughter of animals in Tamarindo beach will reach the Public Prosecutor’s Office

The coordinator of Wildlife Conservation Area Tempisque, Orlando Matarrita, met on Monday with the Attorney General of Santa Cruz, who requested a detailed report on the complaint of an alleged killing of wild animals in Tamarindo that has been going around on social networks.

Matarrita insisted that, although they have identified the suspect and have documentary evidence, this is not enough.

We need witnesses, we have at least 2. One of them is the person who uploaded the video and photos to social networks. Now the judicial police will investigate the person and interviewing the witnesses,”

explained Matarrita.

According to the official, the report was being prepared on Monday.

The official also explained that, sadly, these cases take a long time to be solved.
