The smell of burnt plastic in the cabin of an airplane bound for El Salvador forced the pilot to return to the Juan Santamaría airport on Wednesay morning.

Enio Cubillo, director of Civil Aviation, explained that Lacsa’s 626 plane left minutes before 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, with 63 passengers on board. However, the pilot made the decision to return.
