Suspension of bus stops in Curridabat and Tres Ríos

The residents of Granadilla in Curridabat and San Ramón in Tres Ríos who use the bus service must now get used to the fact that several regular bus stops will be suspended until April 15th.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) is conducting repair works in the main street to Granadilla, which forces to alter the route of the buses and the suspension of several stops in that sector.

The works that are carried out affect the stops of Granadilla centro, Palí, Granadilla Church and the others located in the route that goes from the Farolito to the intersection with the main street to San Ramón de La Unión, known as route 306 to 202.

In light of this situation, the company CESMAG, one of the service providers in this area, expresses its apologies to users for the inconvenience.

The stops that are still on the route are El Farolito, for those who wish to travel on the normal route to the capital, or La Begonia in the San Ramón-San José route.

Users should know that the service is not suspended, only some stops will be disabled due to MOPT works. As work progresses, other stops may very well be affected, but the company will always make the best effort for users to arrive to their destinations,”

said Mauricio Ramírez, from CESMAG.

This suspension, according to the order of the MOPT, began on March 3rd.
