Technology and people with disabilities go hand in hand

Technology is improving conditions for people with disabilities. As a result, the equipment and software used by Stephen Hawking to communicate is being sold in Costa Rica.

Some of these tools were exhibited on Thursday at the National Resource Center for Inclusive Education (CENAREC).

The ExpoCenarec showed the technological advances for people with special needs, whether physical, hearing or visual.

This year, as well as the previous one, there has been a technology fair and we wanted to promote the independence of people with disabilities through the use of technology,

explained Eduardo Valenzuela, CENAREC spokesman.

15 companies participated in this event with innovative products and talks.
