Technology companies will exchange information with EU

Costa Rica will host the II Meeting of Elan Network, to be held from September 19th to 21st, aiming to identify business opportunities based on technologies, networks and create opportunities for networking with European firms.

According to the representative of the National Center for Science and Technology (CENAT), Allan Campos Gallo, attendees can find national and international partners and build strong networks and lasting relationships and business opportunities.

The ELAN project is, in itself, a great opportunity to bond with European companies and develop these joint technology-based opportunities.

In total, there are 900 companies, most of them small and medium-sized enterprises, linked to health, environment and high performance computing.

Participation is free and is funded by the European Union and organized in Costa Rica by the National Center for High-end Technology, in collaboration with of the CONICIT and Earth University.

The participation of first-level moderators and exhibitors from internationally renowned organizations, such as the German Space Agency (DLR by its German acronym), Tecnalia of Spain and MVO Netherlands, has been confirmed.

In addition, there will also be representatives from the Costa Rican Chamber of Information Technology (CAMTIC), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Health and others.
