Telephone number portability attracts more than 25,000 phone users

A total of 25,346 people have registered to change their cell phone providers and keep their current cell phone number in the first cut over of telephone lines. Few if any problems have been reported with the system. The Sutel regulatory agency recommends that consumers who experience problems contact their new provider.
