The ash from Turrialba is back! These are the places where it will fall

The cameras from the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) captured a plume of gas and ash of about 300 meters high, emanating from the Turrialba Volcano in Cartago.

Because of this, some communities will be affected by the fall of the material.

According to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN) wind is blowing to the South West, so residents could report ashfall in highlands of Oreamuno de Cartago, Coronado, Goicoechea, Moravia, Curridabat, Tibás, Heredia, Downtown San José, Fincas La Silvia, La Picada and La Central.

According Blas Sánchez, a geologist at the National Emergency Commission (CNE), in recent days there has been a constant tremor signal from the colossus, associated with the transit and movement of fluids from the surface.
