The bill that aims to limit the additional remuneration to wages in the public sector is making progress

The bill that aims to limit the additional remuneration to wages in the public sector moves its way through the Congress.

The initiative, created from a text submitted by Sandra Piszk, legislator from Partido de Liberación Nacional (PLN), was endorsed by a majority of legislators who are part of a panel from the Committee on Social Affairs.

Piszk explained that the text was signed by congressmen from PLN and Partido Acción Ciudadana (PAC). However, Partido Unión Social Cristiana did not sign it and called for new changes.

The lawmaker denied that the new version is more flexible regarding the salary bonuses.

The project aims to regulate 6 work incentives, which are full-time commitment, annuities, prohibition, professional career, availability and zoning. Discretion and confidentiality were removed.
