The Border Police will help students from a native school

The Border Police committed to support the students from an indigenous school in Talamanca as part of the project carried out with the US embassy and “Pura Vida” humanitarian mission.

This means that they will offer their help in the year-end party and they will also collect useful items (uniforms, shoes, socks, bags, notebooks) for school year 2017.

The operation has counted on 46 specialists, including general practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, among other national and foreign specialists and to date it has managed to help 700 natives.

It breaks our hearts to see the conditions in which they study and thus, along with other police forces, such as Air Surveillance Service that has already supported them, we will join efforts to give a hand to this important population for our country,

declared Obando Flores.

It is important to highlight that the initiative of the Border Police started on November 14th and the goal is to carry it out every year.
