The CCSS is not asking for confidential information

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) warns that the institution is not asking for confidential information related to mortgage loans.

Pension Management authorities made the clarification this Thursday. They emphasized that they do not send messages by electronic means requesting personal information for alleged procedures for a credit.

Several pensioners asked about publications on social networks (Facebook) that refer to an unauthorized cell phone number so that they send personal or confidential information to obtain personal credit.

The institution insisted that this type of practice is not used by the CCSS for the granting of mortgage loans, and alerted the population about this method that is being used to obtain information.

It is important that pensioners remember not to provide personal or confidential information to these ads and in case of doubt contact the Pension Management: telephone 2284-9200 – 22126464 and they will gladly assist you.
