The FILU 2017 will invade Heredia from March 13th to 19th

Books, art and culture will invade the city of flowers’ main public spaces from March 13th to 19th.

The National University Publishing House (EUNA), along with the Extension Assistant Office of the UNA, have started this Fair, which was co-organized with the MEP (Regional Direction of Heredia), the Municipality of Heredia and TanGente group. They all aim to make a great contribution in knowledge, culture and art to all poeple who visit the fair.

With the purpose of having cultural exchanges with the whole community, families and people in general, the FILU 2017 will take the most emblematic public spaces of this city, such as Herediano Omar Dengo Cultural Center, Nicolas Ulloa Central Park and Alfredo González Flores Culture House.

Those attending the fair will be able to visit the stands and participate in free, cultural activities. In addition, they will be part of the only fair of its type in Central America.

This year, the Univeristy of Chile is the special guest, so its representatives will carry out some presentations. They will also show high-quality cinema, in which three short films on human rights will be exhibited on March 14th. The activity will take place in the boulevard located next to Omar Dengo Cultural Center at 7:00 pm.
