The police raided two businesses that allegedly adulterated liquor with ethanol

The Fiscal Control Police (PCF) raided 2 places under the suspicion of liquour adulteration.

Irving Malespín, director of PCF stated that the businesses were located in Turrúcares in Alajuela and in Curridabat.

According to the investigation, these people could be involved in the adulteration of liquor with the use of ethanol as a product,”

said the official.

Malespín noted that these investigations are related to the seizure of several vehicles carrying ethanol last week.

The investigations are conducted with the help of the Ministry of Health.
