The strike did not affect the CCSS

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) reports the provision of health services remains unaltered by the strike of taxi drivers on Tuesday.

The medical institution’s manager, Maria Eugenia Villalta, confirmed the staff of the various regional headquarters managed to get to work smoothly.

Villalta added that the influx of patients with medical appointments at 7:00 a.m. was normal.

Villalta said that during the day they will continue to monitor the services and will provide a report in the afternoon.
