The youngest legislator wants to work for the rural youth sector

On March 25th, Gustavo Viales turned 27 years old. Today, he is the youngest legislator in the Legislative Assembly for the legislative period that began on May 1st.

Viales was elected by the province of Puntarenas and that is why he assures that his priority will be finding solutions to the employment of young people in rural areas.

He stated that the fiscal project that the previous Assembly left in discussion and that is key to take the first step in improving Costa Rica’s finances is transcendental.

I am from a rural area and my interest is to promote bills to generate tax incentives for hiring young people and also on the issue of security,”

said the legislator.
