There will be no traffic restriction in Easter

Between April 10th and 14th, drivers will be able to travel through the capital without receiving a traffic restriction fine .

The measure will disappear during those dates, which correspond to Easter time. By granting the entire free week to the public sector, the number of vehicles entering and circulating in the capital is reduced considerably.

Under this scenario, Mario Calderón, director of the Transit Police, said that it is better to assign personnel who control the issue of restriction to control transit due to the imminent departure of people from the Central Valley to the beaches and areas of the country.

Calderón stressed that the Central Valley will not be neglected, nor the headwaters of the province. In fact, staff are available to collaborate with religious activities such as processions.

The restriction by number of plate covers all the routes included from circumvallation towards the center of the capital.

The measure will resume on Monday, April 17th.
