The Ministry of Labor expects hundreds of public officials decide to telework (with previous approval from their bosses) from next week on to avoid worsening the traffic in the streets of the Metropolitan Area.
This is because the bridge over Virilla River in the General Cañas will be closed from this Saturday to finish the repair and extension work.
One of the key points to teleworking is that you must sign an additional contract to the existing one, with clear rules for those who work from home.
Both the public and private sector must create additional labor contracts to add specific conditions,”
said Carlos Alvarado, Minister of Labor.

How does the employer verify the compliance of the day and the agreed time? What happens if the teleworker suffers an accident? Who should provide the equipment?
