Tico stands out among 50 world leaders who fight for the environment

Manfred Kopper is one of the 50 world leaders that make up the “Global Shapers” of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

This Costa Rican national is in the network of inspiring young people who work together to address challenges in favor of the environment. Kopper has already stood out as the Director of Climate Change and Sustainability of EY and from there he designed environmental sustainability projects for companies.

He was trained in Al Gore’s “Climate Reality Project” in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Global Shapers Community encompasses 378 urban centers in 160 countries, and more than six thousand members that are organized in teams to create projects that respond to the needs of the communities.

These initiatives are wide ranging, from the response to disasters and the fight against poverty, to the fight against climate change and the construction of inclusive communities.
