Tour operators from the country will meet this week

The Costa Rican Association of Tour Operators (ACOT) will hold its Sixth National Meeting of Tour Operators on September 28th.

The event will promote strategic alliances between entrepreneurs and service providers. Tourism professionals will also be trained.

ACOT seeks to provide a space for the sector to train and to update and innovate the Costa Rican tourist product, improving the experience and service to the tourist.

The organization included conferences on Tourism Neuro-marketing, Innovation and Competitiveness and a presentation on “San José Vive”, the brand of the capital, which was launched by the Municipality this year.

Roberto Pérez, international advisor in neuro-marketing came to the country exclusively for this activity.

The concept of neuro-marketing refers to scientific activity, which studies consumer behavior, emotional level, memory and more. It also investigates stimuli perceived by the consumer in a conscious or subconscious way.

The meeting will be held at the Raddison Hotel starting at 9:00 a.m. next Thursday. Registration will cost $75 and it’s free for ACOT members.

The Costa Rican Association of Tour Operators is a private non-profit organization that has been gathering tourist firms since 1989.
