Traffic jams invaded the country

Social-network users reported important traffic jams in some parts of the country.

According to Mario Calderón, director of Traffic Police, due to the start of classes, the congestion increases in the main cities of the whole country. Drivers must plan their travels very well.

There are more than 7,000 student transportations, but 5,000 of them will work in the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) and the other 2,000 in the rest of the country.

According to users, the main complication took place in the alternate routes that connect Heredia with San José, also as a consequence of the regulation on La Platina Bridge.
