Truck drivers want the Government to listen to their request

A group of truck drivers are in Zapote, as a pressure measure so the Government talks to them. However, no blockades are reported and traffic is normal in the area, as stated by Transit Police Communication Center.

The Public Force Press Office reported that a monitoring operation is maintained outside the Presidential House, but there are no incidents.

On February 27th, the police had to use the force to stop truck drivers from blocking the streets since, according to minister Mata, blockades are not allowed.

Drivers are demanding a 20% tax on Central American transports operating in the country, but national authorities insist they will not allow blockades.
