Turrialba volcano does not sleep!

Ash seems to be part of the atmosphere! After 2 months of constant eruption, Turrialba volcano continues its emanation.

According to the Volcanological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) on November 6th, the column reached 700 meters above the crater but it is unknown what was the maximum height, because weather conditions in the area didn’t allow experts to determine that.

Citizens from Escazú, Guadeloupe, Sabanilla, Curridabat and Barva de Heredia reported ashfall and some of them reported a strong smell of sulfur, through the entity Facebook page.
