The Legislative Assembly approved in its first reading two extraordinary budgets: the first one for 103 billion colones and the second one for 21,850 million colones.
The first spending plan includes a 25,818-million-colones reduction aimed to increase salaries and pensions.
Within this budget, a transfer of items was also authorized. It will be 78,222 million colones.
The highest amount (69 billion colones) was assigned to the Ministry of Public Education (MEP) and it is followed by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT) with 2,202 million colones.
