UCCAEP: 0% increase on minimum wages

The business sector proposed a 0% increase on minimum wages.

Franco Pacheco, president of the Costa Rican Union of Chambers and Associations of Private Enterprise (UCCAEP) said the figure will be approved by the entity’s board and officially presented to the Wages Council on June, 13th.

On the other hand, unions presented three proposals to increase minimum wages between 2.13% and 3.5%

The final decision will be made on June, 15th.
