Venezuelans in Costa Rica shout and sing against Maduro

While dozens of people are still lining up to vote against Nicolás Maduro and the Constituent Assembly, another group of Venezuelans demonstrated with music and shouting against the president of their country.

With a sonorous “Leave, leave, leave!”, the Venezuelans settled in Costa Rica sent a clear and strong message against Maduro and his policies.

The large group of people gathered in Plaza Boulevard in Escazú also wanted to feel a little closer to their land and sang songs of their own country.

Tears came to many of the voter, who trust their voices will be heard from Costa Rica, so that the world knows about the total rejection of Venezuelans towards the regime of Nicolás Maduro.

We came to vote against Maduro and his policies. We want peace and freedom for our country,”

said Óscar Buyo, a Venezuelan who has lived in Costa Rica for 19 years.
