Videos recorded in Guanacaste by American scientist go viral

A series of videos recorded by the American scientist Vincent Lossaso became viral on social networks. The recordings made in Costa Rica by the biologist and his wife Lindsay have been viralized for a couple of days in international media.

The couple performs a mission in the country to register wildlife and has focused on the province of Guanacaste. The images even participated in a world wildlife contest.

This is a project with a series of trap cameras that capture large numbers of animals in Las Catalinas, Potrero and Punta Sabana, Matapalo, both communities of Guanacaste.

The first images were shared in Guanacaste Wildlife Monitoring social networks in which felines such as pumas, ocelots, margay cats and other mammals such as white-faced monkeys, raccoons, coyotes, armadillos, deer and anteaters, as well as turtles and hawks can be seen.

In total, we recorded 1,753 wildlife videos of 52 different species in three months. Thanks to Michael García and the Agroforestry team of Las Catalinas for all their work and support during this project,”

they added in the same social network.
