Water in Cartago is not polluted

An image is circulating in social networks. It states the following:

Microbiological agents in the water, such as fecal coliforms, were found in 66 municipal aqueducts of Cartago, Jiménez, La Unión, Oreamuno, Paraíso, Turrialba and the district of Cervantes. To avoid possible stomach diseases, boil the water for consumption or buy bottled water.

However, according to the Ministry of health, this information is false.

The Ministry of Health has not issued any alert regarding the pollution of aqueducts in Cartago,

clarified the institution through its Twitter account.

The Ministry posted on its Facebook account that it is a hoax.
