2 tremors shake the Pacific of Costa Rica

In the afternoon of November 8th there were 2 earthquakes in the Pacific sector of the country.

The first was 15 kilometers west of Tarcoles, Garabito, at 2:27 p.m., with a magnitude of 2.8 degrees and a depth of 17 km.

The second and strongest earthquake was recorded 87 kilometers northwest of Tamarindo, in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste. This earthquake was 3.9 degrees on the Richter scale and it happened at 2:57 p.m.

According to information from OVSICORI and the National Seismological Network there were no reports of damages or victims.
