4.6 quake shakes the Pacific coast

A tremor of 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale struck early this morning the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

According to OVISCORI- UNA, the quake occurred at 12:12 am at a depth of 21 kilometers and 17.4 kilometers south from Parrita.

The closest towns to the epicenter are Quepos and Jacó.
