4.1 quake shook Central Pacific

A tremor shook the sector of the national Central Pacific on Monday night, at 7:09 p.m.

According to the National Seismological Network (RSN) the earthquake’s epicenter was 9km north of Quepos, with an intensity of 4.1 degrees on the Richter scale.

It was 25 km deep and it was reportedly felt in Quepos, San Marcos and San José in Tarrazú.
