400 homeless people received care in San José

Once again, the Pro Mundo Foundation will help about 400 homeless people of the capital with the project “Chepe se baña”.

This Saturday the bus was installed in La Merced Park to offer the inhabitants of the street the possibility of a dignified bath, food and recreation.

According to Mauricio Villalobos, representative of the foundation, this is the sixth stop of the bus and they are planning for this type of aid to continue.

These are life fairs that are held in the parks with the help of volunteers and companies, but we want to take the project to vulnerable areas several times a week,”

said Villalobos.

This time “Chepe se baña” joined the Food Bank and Hospital San Juan de Dios to achieve greater collaboration.
